In addition to our regular Gloucester U clubs, we will be hosting workshops in a variety of exciting topics .

9/22 Jim Unis, former Gloucester High School football player who will be inducted into the Gloucester High School Hall of Fame on September 20th, on his career and diagnosis of post-concussion syndrome (2:15 in the library for refreshments and then Jim will begin at 2:45 in the lecture hall )
10/6 Geanine Monzione, Director of Human Resources at Cruiseport Gloucester, will discuss employment opportunities in the hospitality business and upcoming job/internship positions at the Cruiseport Gloucester multiple venues (Seaport Grille and the new Beauport Hotel)
10/13 Linda Saris, Executive Director of LEAP for Education in Salem, with exercises to explore career paths that match your strengths and interests
10/20 Carrie Stack, Founder of the SayYes Institute in Salem, on professionalism in job interviews, job networking, and generally in life’s socially challenging situations
10/27 Joel Favazza, a young local and civically engaged attorney, on the upcoming important Mayoral election on November 3rd
